The flags are a quick way to determine how to expediate orders. Only concern is that they lose their adhesiveness after repeated use. they are used all the time. Made our work more efficient.

Flags used everyday
on October 25, 2010

We utilize the one-inch page marker flags everyday for use in homeschooling. My kids use them to mark their progress through books they read, through their school textbooks, and to highlight pages to review for testing purposes. I use them to separate subjects in our progress report notebooks. I often make copies of papers for school. I like that I can note how many copies of a page I need on the Post-It page marker, then reuse it after copies are made. I also use them to mark pages in magazines that I want to go back to read at a later time and to mark recipes in a food magazine to which I subscribe.

I love using these to flag days on my monthly calendar that are either really busy or have an important event (such as band concert for a kid) that I might forget about. They stick great and have a little room to write. Love them!

Finally, I can find a page right away. Flags don't ruin your books if you remove them, but really who would. Better than using bookmarks.

Post-It 1 inch flags

I have made identifying reading groups for adults entering my room a piece of cake. I have color groups to start. Red, yellow, green, and blue. Red is below grade level, yellow is in need of an intervention, green is at grade level, and blue is above grade level.
I label everything with the correct color flag. Everything includes: journals, guided readers, independent reading books, assignments, centers, and there is a chart on the wall. No matter if the principal, literacy coach, other staff or volunteers come in, they can easily gather their materials and head off with their students. I do not label the groups by ability and use only first names.
The flags are priceless and can be used over and over again. Misskathaleen

I use the post it flags to mark my page in my favorite books. I read A LOT, so I'm constantly pulling and replacing the post it tabs when I have to step away. A tab will carry me at least halfway through the book, and it doesn't interfere with the passages. The post it tabs are also great for marking the month in my travel calendar so I only have to pull it out and flip it directly to the current month. This is truly the best product ever created.

I use these to mark songs to play color coded for themes as I play organ for church. They are perfect because at a glance I can choose the next song!
