It's slightly heavier than copy paper which feels nicer. The brightness is great especially for how inexpensive it is. It's definitely multi-purpose paper - We've used it in our laser printer and it looks great; we've used it for paper airplanes and they fly straight and true; we've used it as filler for a small shipping box and it holds its shape well and performs wonderfully as a cushion. Haven't tried it as toilet paper. Probably won't.

My HP printer can print on both sides of a sheet of paper. But regular 20lb paper would bleed through. Staples 22lb does not and is more durable. However the price is much more than the equivalent 20lb paper.

I like the product very much and would have given Staples a better rating the shelf supply had been better and the employee had been more help. I only purchased 1 ream of paper because the shelves did not stock a box of 5 reams. The shelves were loaded with boxes of paper that was 90 bright/18 & 20 wt. but there were 0 boxes of 98 bright/ 22 wt. paper. My experience with your young employee was that he did not have enough training and did not know what products were available or where products were at in the store.

I like the slightly heavier weight of this paper. I only print what I want to save or hand over to someone else so I prefer #22 more than #20.
