Awesome Notecards

I purchased the five pack of lined note cards in order to make my Black Friday shopping list and for the boys to use for their research papers. I used ball point and gel pens on the note cards and the ink did not bleed as a more porous paper does. The lines were clear and well printed. There were no deformities in the cutting or printing of the cards. They are packaged as five packs of 100 each so you only have to open a minimum amount at a time while the others are still protected inside a plastic wrapper.
My organization is using these line ruled neon assorted color index cards 300/pack by Oxford for a networking exercise. The colors are real eyecatching and make for a festive feel to the event. We exchange our information with interests and whether we are interested in mentoring or being mentored in a particular area of interest. Lots of fun and energy. A great ice breaker and these colors really make it more festive. Staples is a great store and one that I rely on for all my office and school needs. I was so heartbroken when Sandy hit two years ago and my favorite Staples was closed...when they reopened..I literally walked in with my arms wide open and saying thank God you're back and I missed you...I don't think the employees realized how much the store and they were missed.
The price is good but they are a bit flimsier than I would have liked. If you want tough cards that will withstand folding or bending you'll probably want to look into a different brand.
I purchased these cards to use as recipe cards because I could not find recipe cards anywhere. The clerk at staples was very helpful. I would never had thought to use index cards in place of recipe cards. These particular index cards that she reccommended are different colors...four different bright colors. They are perfect for my purpose.. I can use a different color card for each different type of recipe..for instance...yellow for main dishes...pink for desserts...green for vegetable dishes... And blue for side dishes. It was a great suggestion. Cudos to the clerk!!!
