I bought these on April 1 and in the ensuing two weeks they have proven themselves in a variety of ways. One easy applicationis as a bookmark--one book I'm reading on writing styles really helps when I can go right back to where I left off. Other uses are for lists although I usually use the unlined side and hold the card vertically since most items on my list are short words (milk eggs etc.). They are also handy for reminders for my meetings with my business partners this way I remember items we must discuss although sometimes the topics are long enough that I need to use a second card or revert to a 4x6 card (which I'll admit are too expensive for my budget). I have found that I can take a goodly number of these cards and lay them out on my desk to help me manage various tasks even unrelated ones. I'd be lost without my 3x5 cards.
They were great. Staples is great to buy supplies from

In teaching foreign languages I use many different textbooks and needed flashcards that were lined and multicolored to identify each level of text being thought. The use of multicolor index cards takes out the guesswork of where the information was extrapolated.
