Great for adults and kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been a hit with my daughter who used to break the mechanical pencil leads all the time. She enjoys using it and has been writing various things with these multicolor pencils. She loves the sparkle. The best thing is she manages without breaking the lead frequently. I have been using personally for writing various lists, notes and I absolutely love these. I will highly recommend these.

Lightweight; dark writing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mechanical pencils are a favorite of my 3 kids. With so many to choose from we have tried a lot. The Bic Xtra Smooth mechanical pencil is lightweight and perfect for young kids to adults. It produces a smooth, darker than average print compared to other mechanical pencil lead. This makes it suitable for test taking. It erases cleanly leaving minimal residual print.
The lead is .07mm. This is our preference over smaller or .05mm lead as it doesn't break as easy.
An overall nice quality mechanical pencil my kids will appreciate.

Smooth as Silk

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a big mechanical pencil user, I have used all types, as I am sure everyone has. You have the type where the graphite falls out or breaks the moment it hits paper, you have the cheap-o ones where they break after you click it four or five times. And of course you have the bumpy ones where you can draw a straight line even with a ruler. Well, these new Xtra Smooth pencils eliminate all the issues that are mentioned above. The grip is great, the body is great and most importantly of all, you can draw and write without the bumps. I highly recommend this product.

Old fashioned writing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With the prevalence of electronic "writing" programs in the present day, sometimes you just want to sit down and write the old fashioned way with pens and pencils. And if you're an environmentalist who loves writing with pencils, you probably have a ton of mechanical pencils in your desk or backpack. One mechanical pencil saves wood for two and a half normal pencils, so you can know you're doing the planet a favor and helping to take care of it. BiC is one of the leading brands of pens and pencils and I am pleased to see that they still have the mechanical pencils I grew up writing with, and these even sparkle! So go stock up on them and feel great about yourself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These mechanical pencils are very nice to write with. The #2 size is what I like and the new lead makes for extra smooth writing. Any mistakes are easily erased away with the white eraser that corrects mistakes gently and without tearing your paper.

Good pack of mechanical pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These mechanical pencils work exactly as they should. They glide on the paper real well and the placement of the lead dispenser is ergonomically sound, allowing you to get get more lead on the go without stopping.

Smooth Writting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can never have too many mechanical pencils. It really does have a smooth, darker look. The led is 0.7mm. Great for writting those long essays or just dable in your notebook. My kids love to use them for drawing. Comes with erasers on every pencil and 2 pieces of led in each. Easily remove eraser and refill with led.
