BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL

You've ruined the best and only soap I can use. The new small is nauseating and makes me sick. I've already started looking for a replacement for this soap that I have been using for years. Equate brand soothing aloe seems to be a fairly acceptable substitution for the time being in case anyone is looking. Also the picture you have on the website is not what the new label looks like!
Cons: Sticky Residue, Unpleasant Smell
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dislike the new intense scent

Like some other reviewers I noticed the strong scent when I recently bought the refill with the new-looking. I loved the old formula that had only subtle scent yet still moisturizing hands. It was perfect at the kitchen sink as well as in bathrooms. The new scent is too strong I may have to find an alternative.

I have been buying this for many years and I am so disappointed to find that you have changed the scent to such an intense and unpleasant scent. I have to wash my hands a lot, and, as an autistic, I must use soaps that are sensory friendly. So now my head and nose are aching as my system struggles to cope with the smell of my hands. Will not be buying this anymore unless you go back to the lovely, mild, sensory friendly scent we all know and love.

New scent of Aloe hand soap is awful!

I have bought the aloe vera hand soap for years, but the New scent is absolutely terrible. It lingers for a long time and seems more drying to my hands. Also harder to wash off. Never buying this again. Please change back to the old scent!

The new fragrance is horrible! The original Soothing Aloe was in my opinion the best in their line of hand soaps. It seemed like every time I went to purchase it the shelves were bare. That is how popular it was. Why they felt the need to change it is beyond me. Now they have changed to a new fragrance that should come with a warning that it may cause mild nausea and headaches. I think they have changed the ingredients as well, as there is nothing "soothing" about it. The perfume scent stays with you and what was once a soothing hand wash now dries out my skin. There is a random phrase on the bottle that says, "Save water." I find myself using more water in an attempt to rinse off the perfume scent so that I don't have to endure it throughout the day (and night). Colgate needs to bring back the original!

I HATE THE NEW FRAGRANCE!!!

If I could give your new formula of Aloe Vera Soft Soap a negative 10 I would. I hate the new fragrance! It stinks like cheap perfume. And I see you have changed the formula also. I have used this soap for years exclusively in my bathroom, kitchen, guest bath, and studio and believe me I wash my hands a lot. Why would you change a perfectly good thing?? To cut corners for money maybe? I will never buy any of your soaps again.. You have lost a good customer.

An unfortunate reformulation destroys the product

I don' t know what I can say that hasn't already been said. I am scent-sensitive, and I have used this product exclusively for many years. I have bought gallons of refills - I was a loyal customer.
I bought my first bottles with the new scent recently, and it is appalling. It's cloying, it lingers, and it triggers my migraines.
There are so many scented hand soaps for the lucky folks who can enjoy them. Why steal this one away from the rest of us?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am so incredibly disappointed in the new soap smell and formulation. The former soap was the only one I could frequently without risking eczema flares. This new version is very drying and has managed to dry out my hands in less than a day. I will have to stop using it immediately. The smell is also very overpowering and floral. It lingers for a very long time and induces headaches. I will throw it out and will have to look for another brand with an unscented product that does not dry out my hands.
