The smell lingers for hours after using the product, which is worthy of zero stars. I called the 800 number and verbally registered my dissatisfaction with a customer service representative. Please bring back the original version.

We've been using Softsoap soothing aloe vera for many years. Unfortunately we tried the new scent and it is awful. We will no longer buy this product unless you bring back the original scent.

They've scented the Aloe Vera soap so I can no longer use it

I use the soap to clean and hands in the bathroom and the kitchen. Unfortunately, they've now scented the Aloe Vera with a "new fresh scent" and I can no longer use it as I have a low tolerance of scented products. What was wrong the the original Aloe Vera? I've used it for over ten years and loved it. It was my favourite soap. Needless to say, I will no longer purchase Soft Soap and use an unscented goat milk bar soap that I use in my shower. Very disappointing.
Pros: Attractive Packaging, Cleans Effectively, Easy To Use, Kills Bacteria, Locks in Moisture, Long Lasting, Moisturizing, Softens Hands

horrible new scent

I'm a long term customer who is sensitive to smells. I loved soaftsoap because of the mild scent and it didn't dry out my hands. The new formulas scent is overwhelming and I am forced to throw away my refill order. Please, softsoap, listen to your loyal customers like me and go back to the old scent.

The new fragrance smells awful!!

The new fragrance is truly sickening!! I just have to let you know how disappointed I was when I opened my refill bottle and tried it for the first time. The smell is so bad that I had to wash with other soap about six times to remove it. Why did you feel the need to change the smell so drastically? Did you even ask any of your customers what they thought? I am angry that I am now forced to pick a new product, and I'm also stuck with this whole bottle that I won't even give away because no one will want to smell like this. I hope that you listen to all of the customer feedback that you are receiving and please bring back the old formula.

You've ruined the best and only soap I can use. The new small is nauseating and makes me sick. I've already started looking for a replacement for this soap that I have been using for years. Equate brand soothing aloe seems to be a fairly acceptable substitution for the time being in case anyone is looking. Also the picture you have on the website is not what the new label looks like!
