Bad scent

The new fragrance is disgusting it’s too strong! Hopefully they go back to the previous one, that formula was great, I used it for years. Also I tried to provide feedback by phone but it took them like seven minutes to answer the phone and then she supposedly couldn’t hear me and then she hung up on me and she was of course not in the United States…
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Like many other reviewers here, I've used this hand soap exclusively because of the very light fragrance and because it doesn't dry out my hands with frequent use. I've even been buying it by the case. But this new scent is really awful and way too strong. It's so bad, and the new logo/label is so unattractive that I thought I received knockoffs. Fortunately I got a good whiff of it before I used it so I'm not stuck with it on my hands for hours. I don't understand this corporate need to constantly change the products that work and that keep people as loyal customers. Now comes the un-fun task of trying to find an acceptable replacement.
Cons: Unattractive Packaging, Unpleasant Smell
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stinks!!!!

This new formula is horrible! It has a strong scent and it stinks! We loved the old formula and purchased it many times since we found it. I am very sensitive to smells which triggers my migraines. The old formula was the best!! The scent was light, not overwhelming! Please consider bringing the old formula back! If I can’t find any of the old formula, I know that I will not be purchasing any other bottles of the new formula.

Preferred the old formula

The old Soothing Aloe Vera soap was great. My skin reacts badly to perfumes, so I tend to use unscented or lightly scented products. This was my main hand soap. I recently tried to buy a refill bottle and ended up with the new Soothing Clean formula. The new formula has WAY too much perfume/fragrance in it. I'm currently tolerating it because I don't have much choice. Please, please, PLEASE bring back the old formula!!!
Pros: Cleans Effectively, Easy To Use, Moisturizing

Reformulated

Soothing aloe vera was reformulated and is now sold as soothing clean. I've been using soothing aloe vera for years because it's the only soap I found that I'm not allergic to. I went to buy another refill only to find it reformulated. I compared the ingredients on the back and found that they were slightly different. Decided to give the new formula a try. Bad idea! Now I have to spend a lot of money trying new products to see if I can find another soap that I'm not allergic to. Extremely disappointed, and to be honest, extremely ticked off!

I’ve used this soap my ENTIRE life. I even use it as a face wash because it helps keep my face from being too oily. It was my favorite. And now I can’t use it anymore because it was changed and has a weird scent now. Please go back to the old version. I’m now going to have to jump through any hoops I can just to find the old version :(

Bad Fragrance Left on Hands

After many years of use, my sister & stopped buying this due to the change in fragrance. The bottles we bought we gave to our mother who has no problem. While at her place I needed to wash my hands & the lingering smell was so strong I couldn't wait to get home to scrub the smell off.
