I purchased this product for years because it was good for people with sensitive skin & allergies to heavy scents . Why did you go and add this awful smell to the liquid hand soap that was very soothing ? Now I have to find a different product as I will NO longer purchase this product! What a shame for people like me who used that over any other ..... signed , you lost a customer

Will Never Buy Again

Recently opened a bottle of the "New fragrance" version of Softsoap's Aloe Vera hand soap. The "New fragrance" has a very strong bad odor to it. The odor is so bad I threw the bottle away and will never buy Softsoap again. I've been a loyal user of the Aloe Vera soap for many years, but will now be switching to a brand other than Softsoap because of the "New fragrance".
Cons: Unpleasant Smell
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Your "New Scent" just lost another customer

The new scent is repulsive. I have used the aloe vera scent for YEARS and I opened a new refill the other day and put some on my hands, only to be instantly blasted with a nauseating perfume induced disgusting smell that instantly triggered a headache for me. I couldn't get the stink off, no matter how long I rinsed. It stuck on my hands. Just look at all the recent reviews on here and at other retailers, you are losing customers daily with this change. We all just want what has worked well for scent sensitive people back. If you want to toy around with new scents, then create a new label, don't mess with what has sold well for decades. You have lost another customer until you bring the old scent back!!..and no I didn't receive this as a sample, I couldn't clear the "yes" box for that on this review. You might want to fix that too while you're at it.

New Scent is Hideous

We're long-time users of this soap in every bathroom of our home. The original formula had almost no fragrance, which is exactly what we wanted. The new scent is hideous. I filled one of our pump bottles and when I went to use it, I couldn't believe the intensity of the fragance. The scent is awful, it is too strong, and the worst for anyone with sensitive skin. Why do comcpanies change something that was perfect? Now we have to search for a new brand to buy that is unscented, or as mildly scented as the original Aloe Vera Soft Soap. You've lost a customer.

The old version was perfect! Why do they always have to change things?? Should have left it the way it was! My wife hates the new fresh scent! She is allergic to many perfumes and smells, and now can no longer use SoftSoap Aloe. Please bring back the original!!!

I have bought only thus soap for years because I'm sensitive to scents and i have sensitive skin. I got three bottles of this today and discovered the formula has changed. I won't be buying it again unless the original comes back.

Please go back to the old formula

I'm very sensitive to soaps. I can't use every soap out there due to certain ingredients. The new scent is awful! The scent doesn't go away. I smell it for a long time after washing my hands. The reason why people liked the old formula is because it would be gentle for those who are sensitive to smells and ingredients. People shouldn't smell like perfume after washing their hands. Please go back to what you had before.

Should have left it alone

Why did you change the product 26286 (Aloe unscented softsoap)? The new product does not have as pleasing a scent as it used to. The product seems to be slicker and is much harder to rinse your hands and wash it off. Bring back the original product, please!
