I wish you hadn't changed it

For years this has been the only liquid soap I have bought because it did not have an overwhelming scent and it was gentle on my skin. Now the ingredients have been almost completely overhauled and my hands are like sandpaper after just a few days use. Softsoap - you took a perfectly good product and ruined it. I can't use this anymore.

New Scent is Hideous

We're long-time users of this soap in every bathroom of our home. The original formula had almost no fragrance, which is exactly what we wanted. The new scent is hideous. I filled one of our pump bottles and when I went to use it, I couldn't believe the intensity of the fragance. The scent is awful, it is too strong, and the worst for anyone with sensitive skin. Why do comcpanies change something that was perfect? Now we have to search for a new brand to buy that is unscented, or as mildly scented as the original Aloe Vera Soft Soap. You've lost a customer.

Horrible New Formula and Horrible New Scent

New formula and scent is horrible. Have been using this for years until the formula and scent changed. The new scent just plain stinks and is to strong and lingers way to long. The new formula is more of an irritant than soothing. IT DRIED OUT HANDS AND GAVE AN OVERALL REDNESS TO THE HANDS LIKE A CHEMICAL BURN...after weeks still working on healing hands...what was put in this new formula. Beware if you have sensitive skin or are a frequent hand washer. The old formula was great and the only hand soap used in my household and enjoyed it for many years but NOT this new formula or new scent. I would give this new formula and new scent zero stars if I could.

Will Never Buy Again

Recently opened a bottle of the "New fragrance" version of Softsoap's Aloe Vera hand soap. The "New fragrance" has a very strong bad odor to it. The odor is so bad I threw the bottle away and will never buy Softsoap again. I've been a loyal user of the Aloe Vera soap for many years, but will now be switching to a brand other than Softsoap because of the "New fragrance".
Cons: Unpleasant Smell
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

New Formulation Stinks...

I LOVED the "old" Softsoap Aloe Vera, but I have to agree with MANY other reviewers who say that this is a new formulation and it is AWFUL! I'm sensitive to fragrances and the old formulation was a very gentle scent and I had no reactions. I hesitantly bought this new soap and just thought it was new packaging, but it's also a STRONGER scent and after a very short time my eyes started bothering me and I had to try and wash all of the remaining scent off my hands. Please read all of the comments here and listen to your customers. Go back to the old formulation and the gentle scent it once had for all of us fragrant sensitive people.

The old version was perfect! Why do they always have to change things?? Should have left it the way it was! My wife hates the new fresh scent! She is allergic to many perfumes and smells, and now can no longer use SoftSoap Aloe. Please bring back the original!!!

I have bought only thus soap for years because I'm sensitive to scents and i have sensitive skin. I got three bottles of this today and discovered the formula has changed. I won't be buying it again unless the original comes back.

Please go back to the old formula

I'm very sensitive to soaps. I can't use every soap out there due to certain ingredients. The new scent is awful! The scent doesn't go away. I smell it for a long time after washing my hands. The reason why people liked the old formula is because it would be gentle for those who are sensitive to smells and ingredients. People shouldn't smell like perfume after washing their hands. Please go back to what you had before.
