why change something thats not broken

The new "fresh scent" is terrible. Why the change? Are you listening to your long time customers practically begging you to bring back the original soap so many of us used for years? I cannot purchase the product any more. I ended up donating the bottles I purchased before realizing the added scent. Please listen to your customers. Finding an alternative is very challenging. You had the best product available...."had" being the key word.

I've used this product for years as it cleans well and had a minimal nautral scent. It has also been a good gentle soap for family members with skin sensitivities. The new scent is too perfumy and I can't stand the lingering smell. Sadly, I can no longer purchase this hand soap.
Pros: Attractive Packaging, Cleans Effectively, Easy To Use, Kills Bacteria, Locks in Moisture, Moisturizing, Softens Hands

A waste of a large refill bottle, and unpleasant scent

I have used this hand soap for many years for 2 specific reasons: it is NOT an antibacterial soap, and it had a mild, aloe vera fragrance WITH NOTHING ELSE. Now it has been changed, with a "fresh scent" that I cannot tolerate. Unfortunately for me, I just bought a new large refill size and refilled one small bottle. I will be donating the remainder of the refill bottle to my local food pantry, because someone will want it (probably). Hopefully I won't need to throw it in the trash. I can not tolerate many scents. Although not fond of unscented products, because they just seem *weird* somehow, with no scent at all, I would prefer those to this "new scent (in tiny, tiny letters at the top of the refill bottle). I'm sorry you felt the need to "improve" an already VERY satisfactory product. Reminds me of what they are doing to Oreos these days.

New scent is overpowering- disappointed

I have used this soap in all my bathrooms for daily use for as long as I can remember. The last few bottles I've purchased have said 'new scent' and they're not wrong! The scent is not great and so overpowering it lingers long after washing hands. Disappointed in the change.

New Formulation Stinks and Causes Itching

I am very disappointed in the new formulation. I have used the previous Aloe Vera formulation for years. The previous product had a light pleasant smell that did not linger on hands or in the sink area. The new Aloe Vera formulation stinks during use and is strong, leaving a stench on hands and in the sink area. The former Aloe Vera was soothing and moisturizing. The new Aloe Vera is drying and causes my hands to itch.

This Used to Be Our Favorite Soap. Not Anymore.

We've been using this soap for years and it was our favorite. Not anymore. The smell if awful and way too strong. Our hands don't feel as smooth after using it. They feel dryer than before. We don't be buying this anymore. Please go back to the previous formula and scent.

Please change back the fragrance formula of the Soothing Aloe hand soap or sell an original version! 😭Every friend I know who uses this hand soap agrees the new scent is awful. I need to wash my hands frequently and it was the only hand soap mild enough for my skin and now it is irritating. I thought this is supposed to be "softsoap" not "harshsoap"! Plus the original scent meant a lot to me it was the nostalgic smell of my childhood. Why change a perfectly fine and classic product like this? If you have to make changes just make a different product so people who like the new version can buy
