These cards are great for organizing notes. The Colors keep the subtopics easily divided and the size is just perfect for flash cards

Cue Cards

Thank goodness for Staples. I looked everywhere for cards I could use as hand held cue cards for our talent in the upcoming Catlle Baron's Ball of Fort Myers FL. The Cattle Baron's Ball is a charity event to benefit the American Cancer Society. The funds go to Cancer research and most of the proceeds stay right here in the community. The event lasts 5 hours for which our Roving Reporter and our Host must keep people entertained and informed. I needed some way to print out cue cards and prompts for the talent and wanted to somehow distinguish between cancer facts upcoming evening events and introductions calls to action and fun Cattle Baron's sayings. The color lined index cards were the answer. Most places supply the 3x5 color index cards but do not supply the 4x6. My printer only prints on 4x6 not 3x5. So I was so grateful to find a good 4x6 solution. Thank you Staples! Diane

Excellent stock paper. Did not bend or tear when shuffled. Strong enough weight to stand up alone without folding or collapsing. Well chosen colors draw attention without making writing (either pen or pencil) hard to read.

Great tool

I have been buying these colored index cards to get myself organized with regards to my creating flash cards for the college courses I am taking. Being a variety of pastel colors I am able to identify my course and the subjects of my cards. I can copy or draw illustrations and attach them where appropriate. I have found these cards to be very instrumental in my organizing "need to know" flash cards as well as my class/lecture notes. I have passed this little tip on to fellow classmates. Always telling them I got them at Staples.

Index cards don't seem to be what they used to be These are very thin and not more like card stock that I expected - like the older ones I have in my recipe box! And the cost is much higher than I expected to pay. I would have liked to see color packs available rather than having to buy the rainbow color when I only wanted yellow. Bought more than I needed and paid a lot more than I should have.

Record Keeping

I'm using the 4 X 6 cards for classmate address and email information. I learned my lesson when my hard drive crashed. So I now have an index file of classmates in three different sections. Classmates with addresses and classmates still unknown and need to be searched and last but not least deceased classmates. Having these now make me feel much better about keeping this type of information. I still use the computer but have my tickler file as my backup. Also should my name be added to the deceased list I now have something to be passed on to another classmate for future reference.
