The folders I received are not anything like the heavyweight folders that Staples used to stock. In addition these are made with recycled paper giving the folder surface a rough texture that is undesireable to me. Neither the online listing nor the packaging stated that the product was made of recycled materials. However as of the date of this review the online listing has been updated to say recycled. I will return this product as "not as described".

The folders seem to work satisfactorily but the Avery "TrueBlock" Technology Labels (Avery 8366) did not adhere well to the folders. I had to use tape to secure the labels.

Just what I needed!

I needed to change out my current personal file folders. They were lighter weight and looking ratty. Replaced them with the heavyweight folders and what a difference! Glad I decided to purchase these.

Just as good as the brand name

I work in an administrative construction environment and these files are hardy enough to withstand everyday rough handling. I'm sorry I didn't buy more boxes to stock up.
