They don't fall apart or fold over. They endure the masses of paperwork that we have to file away constantly.

These folders are worth the added expense. They offer better protection for my paperwork that moves with me rather than sitting in the file drawer.

I actually bought these not for filing but to create floss organizers for a complex counted cross stitch project. I cut the file folders up into strips then punched several holes in them and marked each hole for a different color floss. They work great and do not tear when I pull out a piece of floss. I'm sure I would be just as happy with them if I used them for filing papers which I will also do in the future.
