Make sure you open the box first

I didn't realize until I had already purchased these folders that unlike other boxes of assorted colored file folders each color features only one tab position; that is to say the red folders aren't a mixture of left center and right tabs; rather all of the red folders have the same position tab: left. Organization is better in my opinion when each color has tabs of each of the 3 positions. I wouldn't recommend this product to master organizers used to using color broadly to organize.

Staples Heavyweight Colored File Folders

We purchased it for our home business. They are easily identified by colors for each issue for our business. My husband and I love to shop at Staples because there are many different choices for everyday uses. These colored file folders are very strong and they last long time in our file we use our file cabinet everyday. We pull out and put in the file cabinet and they are wonderful to see the colored folders and don't tear from the tabs. The price for 50 file folders are reasonable under that Staples Brand. We love them use them everyday.

Love this product - I need these about 4-5 times per year so I'm always looking for the best deal. The staples brand is just as good and much cheaper than some of the other name brands. I was glad to find these in the clearance isle. They have the wide expandable base and fit perfectly for my portable file carry around. The range of colors and tab spacing are just fine. Always compare normal everyday items you use for your home or office with the local staples brand. They may not always be cheaper but once you find a repeat buy product it will pay off.
