I'm actually using this as a nightstand/bedside table. It's the perfect height beside my bed and great for storing small items or your nighttime read or journal. There's plenty of surface area up top for a lamp and decor (or office organization tools). Looks very modern and stylish with handles reminiscent of the vintage Kartell stacking drawers. The cool-toned beige is a great neutral color.

The file cabinet came fully assembled except for the casters and they were extremely easy to install. The draws are heavy and roll nicely and close firmly. This is a very professional file cabinet and should last for years.

A very welcome addition to our very small living room. Perfect size for the one available spot. Arrived in nearly perfect condition - no dings scratches blemishes. Just one factor gives it 4 stars instead of 5: One inside panel for the hanging rails was slightly bent apparently during manufacture. File hooks fit OK but at a bit of an angle as rails in front ONLY. (Back end inside file drawer the fit is correct.) Solution: I cut the paper part of the front file holders about 1/4-1/3” and they hang OK. My gratitude to Staples for granting a discount on the price because of the flaw. Looks just great a pleasure to use.

Too wide for hanging folders

File drawer is about 1/2 inch too wide for the hanging file folders. They can only be used from side to side but not front to back. Cannot hold as many side to side.
