Perfect for my needs!

This is a good-looking sturdy file cabinet with 1 file drawer and 2 accessory drawers. There's a companion file that has 2 file drawers. Together they completely work in my small home office. I love having the accessory drawers - finally my desk can be clean! I didn't need the mobile part and I did need to raise the fronts of both cabinets to level them because my house is very old and the floors slope downward from the outside wall. I wasn't sure how I'd do that with the casters which can't be removed. I was afraid I'd have to rest the whole weight of the cabinets on the front kickboard which didn't seems ideal. But it turned out that the casters are recessed into a well and just behind them the bottom is solid so I was able to place a board just behind the casters to shim up the fronts of the cabinets and the result is very stable and sturdy. The drawers slide smoothly and pull almost all of the way out - maybe only an inch is left at the back - so I can stuff files in there if I want to and still be able to get at them. I like the clean lines of the drawer pulls. The finish is a nice shiny black enamel. There was no chemical outgassing smell from the finish important for me because that kind of thing gives me a headache. I ordered them at the kiosk in the store and they were delivered the next day. I got the help I needed at the kiosk and next day the delivery guys were willing to put the cabinets in the room I needed them in. All in all an excellent experience: at the Staples store with the delivery and with the cabinets themselves. I'm very happy with them.

File has better glides than the file for less money. Which means it can hold more and the drawers can still glide smooth.
