Great for custom covers

Plenty of space for writing, without needing to waste an entire sheet if you don't need it. Most notably I used one to label a 9x12 envelope where I keep all the documents, manuals, etc., for my bass guitar. And I used another one for the cover for a custom 3-ring document. I had used heavy poster board for the front and back covers, which naturally doesn't go through a printer very well. This half-page label was the perfect size for creating a nice cover, pasted right in the middle of the poster board. Images and text came out nice and crisp, with no bleeding or blurring.
Pros: Versatile, Sharp Tones & Colors, Spacious

I have to add tape to these. I may as well of just used paper.

Internet Shipping Labels

Previously, I was printing postal labels on printer paper and then putting clear tape over the top of them to attach them on my packages... but the post office does not want any tape over the label. :-( So, these labels (# 8126) are great because they are self adhesive... plus they are guaranteed to cover anything underneath.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I needed large shipping labels. When I found these, I knew they were just what I needed. I was able to create my labels using the template that came with them. These labels were just what I was looking for. I wouldn't hesitate to using Avery products again.

More sticky, please

I received a few sheets of these in a promotional pack. The quality of the paper is great - they are thick and soft enough to stay straight when printing, unlike the thinner glossy sheets I usually use, which sometimes skew when printing. However, the labels didn't stick to any of the boxes I used them on. (Yes, I did peel them off the backing.) I had to tape down the edges of the labels, entirely defeating the purpose of using 'self-adhesive'. If I wanted to use all that time and materials to tape down labels, I would just print them on inexpensive plain paper. I keep a supply of many Avery labels and papers in my home office, but this won't be one of them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I do Some Shipping & A lot of Boxes I use Already have a Label. This Label Really does Hide the old Label I put it Over instead of Ripping old one Off

We are a small firm and we use these labels one at a time. Since they are 2-up this means that they are fed through the printer twice on two separate occasions. In the past I have tried four different products. They always work for the first label printed, but they are not designed to go thru the printer a second time. They jam and tear and are therefore rendered useless. As a result we only receive the benefit of 50% usage. The Avery 8126 is designed to withstand going through the printer twice. They maintain their shape and never jam in the machine. They are easy to peel and use. Hats off to Avery for remembering us low usage clients!

Best quality labels

I will never use any other label than Avery! I have used off brands and they always lose the stickiness. I have had labels fall off when shipping. I am always satisfied with the quality of the label and the templates always work with their labels. Thank you for quality products!!
