Defective pump mechanism.

Engaging the pump for the first time on my latest batch of soft soap is not working well. To engage the pump the head needs to be rotated counter clockwise. Unfortunately the plastic nut just below the head comes loose before the head starts to come loose and without holding the plastic nut while turning the head you are not able to release the pump stem. This has happened on 2 of our latest 11.25 fl oz hand soaps and my wife was ready to go to another brand until I found out the problem. Please get this fixed because I like your product but my wife cannot make the pump work by herself.
Pros: Cleans Effectively, Easy To Use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Masculine Scent

I seldom write reviews but recently tried an aftershave and assumed it was this fragrance I found on myself - turns out it was this soap's scent, which I gave little thought to upon time of purchase. I have found relatively few soaps marketed towards men, and those which are have overbearing fragrance. This one is a winner as it is subtly enough to work in any home, and masculine enough for me to want to purchase more.

I was originally looking for the lemon scented anti-bacterial kitchen hand soap and saw the Clean and Protect Cool Splash so I decided to try it. I love it! I use this in my kitchen and I find the fragrance is wonderful -- clean and fresh; not at all cloying. A scent that is too floral last too long on my hands and I just don't like it when I'm in the kitchen cooking. I will definitely use as a hand soap in my bathroom as well (I just have to buy some more!). It would be great if Softsoap® Antibacterial Liquid Hand Soap Pump, Clean & Protect, Cool Splash came in the refillable size. I hope you keep making this soap!

Nice fresh scent, not perfumey

As a guy, I'm not crazy about many of the fruity or flowery smelling soaps out there, and most of the generic antibacterial varieties are also kind of bland. The Cool Splash scent is very appealing to me, kind of like freshly washed laundry. I'm hoping to see refills for this.

This product smells great, it does not leave a residue. The cap does not seal around the pump. If product is tipped or squeezed product spills.

Scent is horrible

I always buy a variety of scents from Softsoap and this one smells like chlorine. Way too strong! I had to throw it away it was that bad!

Lovely scent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this soap. It’s a pretty thick consistency that spreads evenly all over your hands. It suds up very minimally but you still feel as though your hands get completely clean. The soft, subtle scent is my favorite part of the soap. Its perfect.
