If you're like me the constant movement of loose leaf paper weakens the holes and eventually the paper comes out. The old-fashioned stick-on holes are fine but are a nuisance to apply to each sheet. With Staples reinforced filler paper the problem is solved. The paper stays in place and after repeated use remains as it originally was. You don't have to trade quality for convenience. The paper is good quality (not best quality) for the long run. Go ahead and spend the extra money on this paper. It's worth it.
