Best Versatile Product

I am a volunteer with an amateur sports program that requires a lot of communication via mail and club show labels for athletes' passbooks. This label is appropriate for both venues. They are a godsend, no more carpal tunnel syndrome.........

Great all purpose labels

These labels are great for a lot of things. They are great for return address labels, which is what they originally were designed for. But they are also a great size label for labeling any number of things. We use this size label all the time for organizing and labeling. It is just the right size and easy to print. Great labels.

Good for tabs too

Besides being able to print any number of labels I need (especially in WordPerfect where that's very easy) these are the perfect size for index dividers for binders/notebooks, especially if you have blank paper tabs or want to reuse old tabs, or if the stiff paper does not feed well in your printer. The label sheets feed well in any printer, so I can use them in my color officejet and really make the labels visible.

All I want is a downloadable template for 8167 labels, sice I got a new computer, no such luck, GREED!!

Keeps Jamming

This product states jam and smudge free but it must be only if your printer takes the paper from portrait. My printer is setup where the paper is taken from the long side (landscape), which does not work with this product. If the edges were not slick, it may work better.

Template doesn't align

Both the online and Avery Design&Print templates for this product do not align with the labels. I've used many other Avery products with no trouble, but the templates for this one do not work. Buy a different product number and hope for better luck.

I am a volleyball and softball official. I have to give my name and ID number to the coaches prior to each match or game. I make labels with my name, ID #, and a ball on a label. All I have to do is stick in the scorebook and it is very easy for the coach to go back and rate me at a later date. The coaches are impressed with these. In volleyball, there are 6 of us officials who travel to several tournaments, I have made them for all of them. When they need more they just ask. It is so easy to print them out. This is a great product and I use it all the time.

Vertical misalignment issues/manufacturing defects

I use these with Square to print barcodes for my shop. They're the perfect size for my purpose but there are often small manufacturing defects. For example, the most common issue is that the sticker pages aren't perfectly centered vertically. The whitespace margins at the top and bottom can differ up to an eighth of an inch. While it doesn't sound like a lot, it's enough to throw off printing so part of the barcode is misaligned and partially prints on the next barcode sticker down. It becomes a domino effect of misalignment due to inconsistent header/footer space. Other than that, at least I never experience printer jams like with other products I've tried in the past. This 'sure-feed' design they tote seems pretty reliable.
