Cheap plastic supports for the drawer don't support weight of even a few files. Try to load the drawer and it drops out of the runner and jams. It would've gone back to Staples but I didn't have the purchase receipt -- it went straight into the trash. Make sure any file cabinet you buy has sturdy metal supports for the drawer!

I just ordered two of these units. One of them was fine the other one the lock came out when I turned the key and it had not been put together properly. It took 45 minutes to get it together so that the lock wouldn't fall out and would work. On the plus side the slides are really well made compared to others.

generally a good buy the wire paper follower is not ideal. the more expensive file cabinets have the more sturdy type... but I will adjust to it.

I am disappointed in the quality of the filing cabinet. I hope it lasts as long as my other filing cabinet which lasted at least 20 years but I do not think that will be the case.

The cabinet was what I expected & wanted but the sliding dividers are almost impossible to move. They do not slide you have to basically yank them to move them back & forth. The release bar on the back does almost nothing. Otherwise I am satisfied with the purchase.
