I purchased a small file cabinet from Staples. The file cabinet is light-weight but stable but works for my purpose. I could not have asked for a better purchase. I would recommend the product.

Lite duty but suitable for our home use. One of the two had a dent on one front corner but I'm going to order another (hopefully without a dent) and hide the dented one where the dent won't be noticed. I wish each drawer had two wire file supports instead of one.

The first delivered cabinet was very badly damaged but the replacement arrived whole and seems to be a great buy (very good customer service arranging for replacement) It is build strong enough for home use and the drawers extend out fully for good access to rear files. I particularly like the 25 inch depth which is a lot deeper than most of the inexpensive filing cabinets out there.

Decent for the price especially when on sale

It came the next day well packaged. Not a single dent or scratch on the cabinet. And comes with wall attachment hardware to prevent tip over accidents. Compared to my 50 y/o Globe Wernicke file cabinet not even close. But for home office use it will serve all right. The drawers pull all the way out but not in a single smooth pull. Seems like it hesitates mid point. The drawer has a wire stop to hold the files in place. But it is not real convenient if you have to move it to add more files as you will have to remove files to make room for the swing of the wire stop as you move it to the next slot. It appears that the tab that engages when you lock it is nylon and if so it could be forced open by sheer force by someone wanting to get into the cabinet. I give it four stars for value as I got it on sale. Otherwise 3 stars.
