Great pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really fashionable, pretty pencils! If you're a parent, consider buying your child these pencils! They write extremely well and the lead is very sturdy. If you are looking for classic pencils, that are able to be refilled with lead and erasers, I highly recommend this one.

Not unbreakable but strong

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This are pretty strong mechanical pens. They accept a lot of force but they could not with stand the force of my toddler. All in all my little was only able to break the pencil led once so they are really strong. They also come in a nice color palette.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bic is synonymous with the production of writing utensils, and while I'm most familiar with their pens, I thought I'd give their pencils a try. And unsurprisingly, they make a great pencil too!
First it should be noted, the Xtra Sparkle refers to the casing design...it has nothing to do with the lead or actual writing. (This was obvious to me, but I thought I should make it explicit.) That said, the "sparkle" is fun, and certainly visually pleasing. Too, it sets it apart from other pencils so I can easily spot any of my pencils that have wandered off in the hands of my fellow work colleagues.
The design is classic, and it sits easy in my hand. The mechanism to advance the lead (by pushing at the eraser end) is smooth and extends at satisfying increments. The plastic is sturdy, and I've experienced no operational failures.
The lead is the standard #2...useful for almost any purpose, from test taking to art, and the writing is smooth and strong. The lead rarely breaks when used at a perfectly shallow angle. I have no complaints about the function and ability to write.
My only very small quibble is with the eraser. Because the lead leaves such a satisfactorily dark line, the erasers struggle with their task, and it can take quite a vigorous action to render the paper clean. But this is a minor complaint, and otherwise the eraser is large enough to do good duty, but not so large as to be wobbly or uncontrollable.
Overall a pencil that feels, looks, and functions well. Will recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always been a fan of Bic Mechanical Pencil's and now that Bic has Xtra-strong break resistant leads I'm even more of a fan..They are so easy to use and never need sharpening..I use them at work a lot and make sure the kid's have some for school..Their very good quality and come in assorted colors..I also like that they are refillable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave these pencils 4 stars as they are really nice however they come with just a tiny piece of lead so I had to go out and buy more lead right away which isnt really a problem, these would be great got school or at home and they are really sparkly! My 11 year old granddaughter loves them! They are made of really great quality and the lead does last awhile.

They are put together well and sturdy. They also come in a multitude of colors. The eraser works well. The lead is refillable. All in all you can't go wrong with these pencils!

Really is strong

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the BIC-Xtra Strong MP mechanical pencils for my everyday notes. I tried putting different pressures on the lead to see if it would break. The lead is very strong. It only broke at a very strong pressure- I mean I was really digging into the paper with it before it broke. The only thing is, if you put a lot of pressure on it, it will also be harder for you to erase. Light pressure on the lead is the easiest to erase.

Best mechanical pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter prefers mechanical pencils for school, but we are always buying more lead because it breaks easily. These are much different. They write very well and the lead doesn't break as easily. Would definitely buy again.
