I am very dissatisfied with my last order of this tape. We have had to throw away several rolls because of the tape splitting and unable to get a start on the roll that would not split. I will not purchase this brand every again.

What is there to say about tape!?! This was a routine purchase of a good quality well priced household staple. I don't know about other homes but we seem to go through a LOT of tape and Staples brand is comparable in every aspect to other more expensive & brand name tapes.

It used to arrive in the blue box as pictured on the site; the new box is white with red Staples logo. The tape is definitely different - it has a little more shine to it and is more visible on the paper than my older rolls; and it doesn't tear easily on the dispenser. I've been using this tape for probably 15+ years. It's not the same and I will likely not reorder.
