This was the only dish washing and hand soap product my family liked. Since you changed the formula in 2015 , the scent is disgusting and the sudsy action is nonexistent. It feels slimy. You ruined a formally very good product!

Too-strong fragrance

I have used Palmolive dish soap brands for many, many years. There was one that was mild on hands with aloe, but it disappeared maybe two years ago. So I tried Pure-and-Clear, expecting a similar experience. Well, this morning while drinking tea from my hot-beverage container, I noticed a weird sweet flowery odor, and realized it was coming from the container, not the tea. The soap has somehow infiltrated the lid of the mug - I cannot get the smell out. Looking thru the ingredients list for other Palmolive optionss, I see that they all contain "fragrance" so I guess I may have to reluctantly switch brands after all this time. Please contact me if you ever go back to making a soap without the nasty overpowering smell. It is unnecessary, and certainly not as advertised, since the description says "no heavy fragrances". Are you kidding?

Cons: Strong Odor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first thought waa wow this smells nice clean fresh scent , not over powering. Then as i tried it i noticed rhe suds lasted a long time and a small amout cleaned a llarge sink full of dishes. Cleaned right through all the grease oils stuck on food. I really loved using this product. Worked just as good even better then my leading dish detergent. I definitely am going to continue to use this New Palmolive Antibacterial Dish Detergent. And its a big plus rhat not only does it really clean great cuts through grease dirt food pleasant scent but its antibacterial wothout drying out my hands . i definitely do and will recommend this product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually use a popular brand of dish soap regularly. I received the Palmolive Antibacterial to try and actually it works as well as my regular brand. This one had a clean scent (I don't like heavy scented products). It had lots of suds and got my dishes clean. I do have a dishwasher, but always wash the dishes first. Greasy pots and pans came clean. I used the same amount of product that I normally use. I like the antibacterial facet of this soap. I do use my own soap/vinegar spray for showers, spot cleaning, bathroom sinks, etc. So the antibacterial is a great addition. It worked as well as my normal brand. I will be purchasing this product in the future.

I find I can use less than the product I used previously. The scent is pleasant and not overwhelming. This is important to me because I wash dishes by hand--no dishwasher.
Pros: A little goes a long way., Pleasant Smell

Gets leftover spaghetti sauce and taco meat stains out of plastic food storage containers! I've never had any Ultra or Platinum Dawn get those stains out. Palmolive antibacterial for my household ♡
