I would not buy this product again

I work in a surgery center and we have some employees who have sensitivity issues. We ran out of our usual hypoallergenic diswashing liquid so I ran to the store to buy more, and they were all out of it. When I saw the label "pure and clear" I made the (bad) assumption that it would be free of dyes and perfumes, so I bought two bottles. The liquid is HIGHLY perfumed to the point that one employee who has many allergy issues will get up and leave the break room when someone washes their dishes. I would implore you to make this the one item that you manufacture without dyes or perfumes! I later realized that "pure and clear" are merely marketing terms and are not qualitative, and with no ingredients listed on the label, it is also not quantitative. I'll go farther and pay more to know what we are subjecting ourselves to. So two takeaways: 1) Remove the perfume, and 2) list your ingredients on the bottle. Thanks.

Cons: Harsh On Skin, Strong Odor

Contains added fragrance. Ingredients as listed on the website are identical to the other formulations despite the claim that this item contains no unnecessary ingredients.

Deceptive label; product not fragrance free

In a rush, I grabbed this, thinking that with a name like "Pure and Clear" and the line "No unnecessary ingredients" on the label, this product would be fragrance-free. Nope, nope, nope. Live and learn. Fragrance is NOT a necessary ingredient for those of us who suffer from allergies.

Why is fragrance a necessary ingredient?

The original Palmolive was a fabulous product. I used it for 50 years. The scent was barely noticeable. Your Pure and Clear claims there are no unnecessary ingredients. Why is fragrance necessary? I would love to be a Palmolive user again but I can't stand the smell of your products.

I would never buy this product again

Overpowering, unpleasant odor. My dishcloth still reeked after being rinsed several times with water. I had to wash it with a truly "pure and clear" detergent to get the smell out of my kitchen. The terms "PURE + CLEAR" and "NO UNNECESSARY Ingredients" emblazoned on your label are outright lies. CLEARLY MISLEADING INFORMATION!!
Pros: Attractive, Good Dispenser
Cons: Persistent, unpleasant odor, Strong Odor

Deceptive labeling and marketing

Like many others I grabbed this Palmolive pure and clear liquid dish soap thinking pure and clear referred to being fragrance free and clear of dyes and unnecessary ingredients. Besides being clear of dyes this product is just standard Palmolive dish soap as well as very highly perfumed. Upon my first tiny dab of use I was overwhelmed and nearly choked and gasped at the perfume. I believe the labeling to be intentionally misleading to attract or appeal to people who buy free and clear products due to allergies and or environmental concerns. Plus, this product does not even list its ingredients on the bottle ... Likely another intentional omission . Double Shame on Colgate Palmolive!!!

Very deceptive label. When I see "Pure + Clear" and "No unnecessary ingredients" I automatically assume the product is fragrance free. This product has an overwhelming artificial scent that went throughout the house. It is also very harsh on the hands. I was a faithful Palmolive customer and thought this would be a good replacement for the discontinued Palmolive Gentle & Caring pink dish soap. It is not and I miss that product.

Not suitable for pure skin or lungs

Don't think for a moment that this product is competing with organic type natural products, especially if you are chemically sensitive! Obviously Colgate-Palmolive co. Is trying unsuccessfully get a piece of the pie with the same chemical factory they have always been dumping in our waterways. Oh good rule of thumb...Don't trust anyone who dumps toxic flouride in their toothpaste because they are obviously endorsed by a mega association that begins with A and ends with A. This rating should be a 0 but thats not an option....(too painful to write as a selection.) They need an entire revamp of their lab,quite possibly Frankenstein's old one. woe to planet Earth! return it back ,maybe then they'll get the message instead of lining their pockets with your mistake...no THEIR mistake!
