Why did you call it Pure and Clear and then saturate the smell. Cannot use it - Horrible

Very disappointed. "No strong fragrance" it says on the package. It is heavily scented. Almost impossible to rinse the scent off your dishes.

Buyer Beware: not fragrance free

My husband shopped. He's careful to get fragrance free products for me since I'm allergic to fragrances. The label says "no unnecessary ingredients" and "free and clear". Since when is a fragrance necessary? Now we need to read the fine print to find out if it is fragrance free or not. Very disappointed.

Good Intentions, But Missed the Mark

A good concept but it misses the mark. A product labeled "Pure" and Clear should be fragrance-free. Hasn't your research hasn't shown that dish washing detergents with heavy fragrances impart that smell to plastics and some non-stick cooking surfaces? Consumers who want fragrance-free detergents must purchase environmentally friendly products that, in some cases, don't offer the cleaning power of a recognized brand.

Ingredients

I, like so many, am allergic (it has morphed into more than simply contact dermatitis) to the preservative isothiazolinone (or any derivative of this chemical). I was reading that the Pure and Clean does not contain any form of isothiazolinone but your sight simply lists "Preservative" as the chemical compound. There is no way to contact you to inquire as to the contents on the web site. Please change packaging to disclose all ingredients. Also, do you use isothiazolinone in your products and, particularly, this one?

Leaves plastic tasting like the chemical used for fragrance

I cannot understand why a artificial and chemically prepared fragrance is a necessary ingredient! I refrain from washing anything but glass and metal unless I make a sink of soapy water (a water waste).Try washing a silicon spatula with a spot of the detergent, rinse and dry. Then lick whipped cream from the spatula! Yeck! Palmolive taste! And, the smell lingers on. Of course the fragrance cannot soak into glass or metal. Really Palmolive, your advertising is false "no unnecessary ingredients", much dished do not need to smell your detergent and neither do I. Also, why don't you use a more space saving design to use less resources (plastic in the bottle, shipping space, shelf space) and a more concentrated product. Then your company would save on shipping and shelf space. Also, with a more concentrated product (less water) you would prevent as much land fill, less bottles, less garbage. Recycling of plastic still uses resources. I know, more is better, a marketing ploy. But, I remember how long it would take for a pearl to sink to the bottom of the bottle, that was a more concentrated soap.
Cons: Container is not a good use of space, Poor Dispenser, Strong Odor, Unattractive Design

Check the label close!

I have loved this soap for years and always buy a large two pack to fill up my small bottle by the sink. This last time I bought it though I noticed the label was different but I didn't realize that it is now scented? The reason I loved this soap was because it didn't have a crazy strong scent. Might as well just buy the other blue brand. I am disappointed in the label change. Make sure to check your bottle close before you leave the store.
Pros: Easy On Skin, Good Dispenser
Cons: Strong Odor
