PLEASE REMOVE AS MUCH FRAGRANCE AS POSSIBLE. I BOUGHT THIS BECAUSE OTHERS HAD A FRAGRANCE THAT OVER POWERED ME.

MISLEADING NAME - not hypoallergenic, and has fragrance

This is MISLEADING. (1) It's playing off the qualities of competing products that are actually gentle -- like 7th generation Free & Clear that's actually fragrance free, or the detergent All Free and Clear, which is also unscented. (2) Says it is hypoallergenic but has fragrance; any decent dermatologist would say avoid scent, natural or not and (3) IT SHOULD SAY LIGHT SCENT ON THE FRONT OF THEBOTTLE and (4) They make a Pure and Clear Lavender, so it makes it seem like this one is unscented since it doesn't specify the scent on the front. BOOOOOO Palmolive! I am annoyed and my hands are dry after doing only two days of dishes. We have used 7th gen for a few years with no issues, so it's pretty obvious this is just a clear and "less" scented of their normal soap.
Pros: Attractive
Cons: Strong Odor
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stinks. Literally.

Boy, am I disappointed. This stuff smells like cheap perfume and it lingers on your hands so you get to smell it for hours. What part of "Pure and Clear" does Palmolive not understand. What part of "no unnecessary ingredients" does Palmolive not understand?

Apparently the folks at Palmolive think fragrance is a necessary ingredient. This product literally stinks. I got a headache with the first squirt and had to give the bottle to someone else. A shame, because I hoped to actually get to use a mainstream dish liquid that actually cleaned, unlike some of the alternative brands. Palmolive, list your ingredients on the bottle and find a focus group to help you with the meaning of "unnecessary." Deceptive labeling!

Is scent a "necessary ingredient"?

This is used as a kitchen sink dish and hand cleaner. I wanted non-scented because I also use the kitchen soap for cleaning brewing utensils and containers and I do not want extra scent in my beer. No scent was marked on the label and no ingredients list. To me, scent is not a "necessary ingredient". I realize this is subjective but now I am stuck with a 2-pack.
Pros: Attractive, Good Dispenser
Cons: Strong Odor

Warning - this product has fragrance

Don't be fooled - "Free + Clear" does not mean free and clear of "fragrance." I have asthma, triggered by "fragrance". Many other people have similar sensitivities or allergies. Every soap, lotion, shampoo, or other product I buy is "fragrance free." I purchased Palmolive Ultra Free + Clear on the (mistaken) assumption that Free + Clear means free of fragrance. The full list of ingredients (available only online - not listed on the bottle) lists "pleasant fragrance" in its ingredients, despite the claim that the product does not have any "unnecessary ingredients." If you are sensitive or allergic to "fragrance" or perfumes, you should pass on this product. It may be free and clear of many things, but it is not free or clear of fragrance.

Why does this have such a strong fragrance?

Fragrances can give people headaches and breathing problems. One would not expect such strong fragrance in a product described as Pure and Clear and NO UNNECESSARY ingredients.
