Absolutely awful smell

I have used this for over a year now because of how my fingers crack living in the northeast. I recently purchased a new bottle and did not realize that the fragrance had changed. What was wrong with the old fragrance? I will not be buying any of this Aloe & Citrus or any other Palmolive Soft Touch unless it is the old fragrance. I also will not be telling my friends and family of this change and am sure they will not like it either.
Pros: Attractive, Easy On Skin, Good Dispenser
Cons: Bad Smell, Strong Odor
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When I see "free of unnecessary ingredients," I think that means fragrance free. Shame on Palmolive. Deceptive, and dangerous for those of us who have a fragrance sensitivity. I will never buy another Palmolive product again. FRAGRANCE IS NOT NECESSARY! P.S. All ingredients should be provided on the bottle, which they are not.
Cons: Harsh On Skin, Strong Odor

How is Scent a Necessary Ingredient?

I didn't even think to smell this dishwashing soap since it said "No Unnecessary Ingredients" on the bottle. Moreover the Pure and Clear on the bottle led me to also assume NO scent. Apparently Palmolive considers scent a necessary ingredient though, because it definitely has a fragrance (and one I don't care for). This was my first purchase of Palmolive and I will not be trying any more of their products.

Deceptive Label

Very deceptive label. When I see "Pure + Clear" and "No unnecessary ingredients" I automatically assume the product is fragrance free. This product has an overwhelming artificial scent that went throughout the house. It is also very harsh on the hands. I was a faithful Palmolive customer and thought this would be a good replacement for the discontinued Palmolive Gentle & Caring pink dish soap. It is not and I miss that product.

Contains heavy fragrance

The labeling seems deceptive. How can the label say "Pure" and "no unnecessary ingredients" when it uses fragrance? And it is not even a mild fragrance it is a very heavy, overwhelming fragrance that fills a whole room. What chemicals fall under that umbrella ingredient of fragrance? I cant even be anywhere in the same kitchen when someone is using this to wash dishes because of the overpowering fragrance that gives me a headache and makes it difficult to breathe.

Our family avoids fragranced products in our household. I have extreme sensitivity to perfumes that often result in an instant headache. One of us has asthma, and one of us has excema. I trusted the slogan on the bottle that claims there are no unnecessary ingredients. There are brands, such as Citra-Solv, that use an inoffensive light citrus fragrance. However, this product has a moderately heavy perfume that triggers my sensitivities. Please don't fall for the deceptive slogan.
