Not thick enough ink bleeds through
on July 4, 2011

These are [...] a great value for the money. The problem that I face with these is that a black Sharpee Marker will bleed through so using them as study/flash cards is pretty useless. A ballpoint pen will make indentations so that's also pretty useless. They're fine if you use a pencil and don't press hard.

One pack of 500 had strange ridges.

I have always loved these and I use many. This last time each card had these minor funny ridges. I was still able to use them but it was an inconvenience. This is probably one pack (of 500) out of 6 that it has happened to. Other than that the cards are consistent smooth bright and a good value.

The unlined Staples brand cards are a nice bright white and are perfect for the project I have been working with the Cub Scouts on. I would reccommend these for anyone who needs a bright white colored unlined index card!
