Hype! liquid highlighters are the BEST!

The colors glide on evenly tones aren't too dark or too light and you can easily read print. Staples Hype! liquid highlighters have the best quality and the best value for the money of all the highlighters I've ever used!

I love to use these bright colors to mark special places in the music for students to practice different sections to play with a "blue sound" or "red sound" etc. and special notes that have a golden "ring" or a purple "spice". The students often like to choose their own color scheme for each piece. Some students have framed their music and hung it all the wall because it is so colorful. They look back with a sense of accomplishment "Wow! I really worked hard on that. Now I can play it easily!"

These are beautiful colors but they do take quite a while to dry compared to over highlighters. You really need to blow on the mark if you plan on turning the page soon after. My pink one looks like it's growing mold as well after having for a few months having only been used a handful of times.

I needed items to fill a school supply kit that needed items to replace ones that dried out and these are the ones I purchased. I put them in the kit and gave to the Orange County Rescue Mission for the older kids living at The Village on Red Hill and Valencia.

The only color I don't like is the blue. It's a little too dark. It would be better of there were 2 green or orange. On the page I find the Yellow a bit bright but readable. Blue I used once and tossed. The rest are good shades.
