The plastic backing piece failed

I purchased this product in 2022 and was quite happy with the product until the plastic backing suddenly failed (snapped in half exactly as pictured by a number of other reviews here while I was in the other room). It's a shame that 3M didn't opt to make the piece just a little stouter. Without that essential backing piece this nice hook is now useless to me.

I had the same issue as others. The plastic back broke on two hooks that were holding a towel weighing 1.2 lbs. Replacement plastic backs should be included with the product since this seems to be an ongoing issue.

Worked great, until it didn't. The plastic backing piece just decided to fail and now I'll have to go buy a whole new set as it sounds like these pieces aren't sold separately - unfortunate. I'll probably hold off and not replace as it sounds like I'm not alone in this issue. Seems to me they could have designed this plastic piece without the crease that would fail.

While Ilove this hook the plastic piece that adheres to the wall broke and there is no way to purchase another one without buying a whole new hook!!

Stylish durable hook
