It works fine just like a named brand. But because the paper was Staples' brand my company saved some money!

Great for placemats!

I teach crafting/rubberstamping classes and use this product for placemats to keep my tables clean. The size is perfect and the price can't be beat! I've even been known to decorate them using rubberstamps and then use them for party placemats. I've never run this size through my printer so I can't comments on that.

Great for large print materials

A number of our church members have difficulties reading the smaller print in the regular-sized Sunday worship bulletins. Staple' 11x17 copy paper is heavy enough to give a solid feel to the bulletin itself with excellent paper-ink contrast that makes it easy to read. We always order Staples copy papers in all sizes and are always satisfied with the quality and value of the products.

I always thought copy paper was all the same. I was surprised to find out I was wrong. This paper was so flimy it was waffled and the copier didn't like working with it.

It's just okay

Due to the size of the paper there is not allow a lot of choice available. A ream of 8-1/2 by 11 is more than half as expensive as a ream of 11 by 17. The price should be reflective.
