hard to tell since now my Epson Xp-639 says I need blue and yellow

Purchase at store was very satisfactory however I cannot see the results since now my printer is calling for more ink cartridges. Before it said only needed Magenta but as soon as I put it in it says "cannot print" due to lack of yellow and blue. Oh boy time to buy a better printer!!!!!!!
