How do you store a case of loose paper?

Product outside package was fine but once you open the case every bundle of paper had torn and unglued wrappers. From the looks of them I would say the wrapping machine had malfunctioned and they were allowed through. There is obviously going to be wasted product with this order which increases the overall price and decreases the product rating.
I've not used enough of this paper to give it a complete review but it does seem to be performing very well. No jams good brightness and it takes ink well with clear and sharp graphics and text.
This particular paper the last time had each ream wrapped and sealed in plastic. We store the paper in a warehouse cabinet and we have humidity here in Florida
As I am researching and writing a book I need to keep copious notes and also produce endless drafts. I find therefore the dependability of this product to be most important. Over the past two years I have not experienced one jam or similar happening due to paper irregularites.
I bought 3 reams. They were boxed with some other items in a large box with balloon bubble packaging. The reams were too heavy and their paper cover burst from the weight and the packaging. They were not damaged so I kept them. But the wrapping was ruined. Staples should package copy paper in smaller boxes.
