Used dozens if not hundreds of these reams by now and never had a paper-caused problem yet. No jams or feed issues in multiple printers - which doesn't sound like a big deal and shouldn't be - until it is. Boringly reliable so I stock up whenever they're on sale.
This package contains plain white paper which is indeed white and flat and blank. The paper seems to accept and display ink and toner of various types and colors. I cannot think of another 100 characters worth of comments to say about a package of plain white paper. Don't you just love automatic electronic product surveys? I hope that this comment will help you with your next purchase.
I have used the Staples Multipurpose Paper for about 6 months. At first I was skeptical to try it. mainly because the price was much less than the papers I previously purchased. I have an ink jet printer which I thought needed "better" quality paper. I was pleasantly surprised that the paper performed very well in my printer and also in my stand alone copy machine The 96 brightness is important to me because my printing must be on a very bright white surface. The proof of what I say about the paper is validated by the fact that I continue to buy the product
I print court transcripts and for the most part the paper works well. The only problem I've encountered is consistency in brightness between cases. Sometimes the paper has a bluish tint to it which makes it very obvious when printing large multiple volumes. Other than the aesthetic inconsistency the paper is good. I have not had any problems with exorbitant dust or jamming problems. I've been told this paper uses less toner than regular copier paper but I haven't done a comparison to see if this is true.
