I know that some people think that paper is paper but I happen to disagree. I have an older model HP Laserjet printer and I have found that when I use "cheap" paper my machines gets jamed frequently. It will print five or six pages and then jam up. But when I use Staples Multi-purpose paper this does not happen.
This line of paper is synonymous with quality and value. Unless you have a print job requiring a heavier grade of paper Staples Multipurpose is a perfect fit for most printing and copying needs. Even though there are reams of copy paper in virtually every store you visit (including the grocery store) I have come to trust this brand and almost always put off my purchase until I can get to Staples. In addition the sale prices and rebates periodically offered on this make it an outstanding value. In view of all these things I can't imagine anyone passing on this item.
I find that this paper is as good as any I've used other than for photo's which requires specialized paper. The real selling point however is that is probably the most inexpensive you can find for a quality ream mostly because of Staples sales and discounts. Because I'm retired I only need to keep a single ream at home but highly recommend a case for anyone who needs more.
Purchased the Staples Multipurpose Paper 8 1/2" x 11" on Thanksgiving Day. It is bright white and fits perfectly into my printer. I have been able to print everything I need. As a family we use paper for school projects crafting projects school papers and more. This paper could be used to print photos and while they would be clear they would not be glossy. This is paper is good for more than printing my daughter also uses it for crafts that she cuts colors and glues. All-in-all this is fantastic paper!
I've compared different papers over the years - quality brightness price (of course!). Although some may think the specific type of paper has little significance I disagree. Paper makes an impression on people and that's important in business. I personally have noticed a difference in papers when receiving reports etc. A quality and bright paper can have an impact on the perception of the document as well as the provider of the document. I highly recommend choosing the Staples brand paper!
