Flimsy unpleasant texture feeds poorly into scanner's ADF

I regret purchasing a case of these reams. The paper is OK for printing but unpleasant to write on with pen somewhat see-through when written on both sides and feeds poorly into my scanner's automatic document feeder (pages are skipped).
