All the labels I had saved to my Avery account were not lined up with the new labels you sent although they were the same number as the labels I had saved.

Hello Caroline, I am so sorry that you had an alignment issue while using our labels template. Some tips I have found helpful to print in alignment is to first keep the image within the safety area. Next, check the PDF Printer Settings. With these labels, the Page Size should be set to Letter/8.5x11" and the scale should be Custom 100%. Another tip is to check if your printer has a Labels paper setting, as this can help your printer grab the paper correctly. If these steps do not work or you need additional assistance, you can either chat with us on avery.com/help, or you can call our Care Team at 800-462-8379. Our hours: 6am-5pm PST, Mon-Fri.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These work perfectly for canning jar lids. I created graphics in Canva (because the Avery design functuon is a bit clunky) and uploaded them to the site. Then I printed them off using the template provided by Avery. It was so quick, and the labels are beautiful. At first, they printed a little wonky, but once I found the printer adjustments option, they printed correctly.
I’ve relied on Avery for 45 years for labels for my homemade jams that I make for family and friends. Having the ability to easily customize them each year is part of the fun! I know i can count on the colors being true, the images will be sharp and they will stay in place, (unlike some other inferior quality brands). I also use the labels to decorate and brand flower vases for a charity event each year, which is immensely popular.
The labels have a great finished glossy look when they work but I have had them do some funky stuff in my laser printer that does not happen with matt labels including registration slippage between the colors. Also, the template needs tweaking. It is close but not not dead on which really shows up if you forget to hide the background template before printing. You need to include an 1/8th inch bleed safety zone or some of your art/text will be outside the label. Price is not bulk product friendly like many of the other sheet labels Avery offers where you can buy them in bulk packs of 500 or 1000.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Sorry that you had some trouble with aligning your design when printing. We do have some recommendations for printing that may be helpful. We would not recommend printing with thin borders in the design. We have seen that many printers struggle with aligning border designs. There are some settings that may help the printer with feeding these sheets. We suggest checking that the Scale is set to 100 and page size is set to letter. You can usually find these options in the print dialog box. Also we recommend selecting a thicker paper type, such as Label, Heavyweight, or Matte Photo to assist the printer with feeding the sheet. If you still run into trouble, please contact our Care Team at avery.com/help or call us at 800-462-8379 and we can take a closer look with you.
