[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of this Magic greener Scotch tape from 3M for my honest opinion. I honestly had never heard of the greener tape so I looked it up online. It's made more environmentally-friendly versus the original, more than 65% is made from recycled or plant based-based material according to the packaging and labels. It's still the great invisible matte tape that you're used to though and we used it for several things, taping shipping labels down, crafts, normal tears in paper and I couldn't tell any difference in the product. It worked great across the board. I also read that the tape is photo safe which is great since I work with photos in my crafts and projects. Anything that is better for the Earth is a good thing in my opinion. I will definitely look into buying more the next time I shop for tape.

Just first seeing it i love the look of it and you can tell it’s good quality. Changing it is a breeze. Now for taping it sticks very good, but is also easy to remove. I’m verry happy with
it and don’t want to use anything else.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently I received a roll of Scotch Magic Greener Tape for free from 3M in exchange for an honest review. I used the tape on wrapping some gifts with a few different kinds of paper. The tape seemed to work just as well as regular tape for this project. The wrapping paper stuck where taped with no peeling up. The tape does seem a little bit more fragile when pulling it off the roll, but just making sure I was was pulling the roll straight and evenly resulted in no breaks or tears that normally lead to 20 minutes of trying to get an end back and wasted tape. So no worse with that than regular tape either. The tape went on and looked just like regular tape when done. I don’t know about use on everything, but considering most of my use of magic tape is on gifts, I’m glad to see a greener option.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've asked myself how Scotch Brand could possibly make their Magic Tape better when it's already top notch and my answer is always the same....it's not possible, in my opinion, unless they were to make it more environmentally friendly. So of course that's exactly what they did! Their new Magic GREENER Tape is most impressive, to say the least. They didn't compromise quality or performance from the original Magic Tape. It's super strong and holds beautifully for repairs as well as other projects. The best part, next to its performance & quality, is that it's made from plant based materials making it much kinder to the planet! In addition, their cartridges are also easily refillable making them even more kinder to our planet! Scotch Brand has done it again and we're glad they did!

Even better than orginial Scotch Magic tape!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I volunteer to evaluate products for 3M, and the company recently sent me a free sample of the 53% plant based Scotch Magic Greener tape. I see that there are 53%, 65% and 75% plant based versions available. This has all the efficiency of the Scotch Magic tape, easy to remove from dispenser, easy to tear, no stretch, easy to apply and write on, then even better, think it is a little more transparent and invisible than some versions and love that it is better for the environment. Think I will shop for the higher count plant based versions when I am in the market for tape again to try those. I think the 53% fine print should be on the front like with the other versions, easy shopping. Love that it is still photo safe even if it is not quite acid free. Photo safe icon should also go on the front label, easy shopping, people choose tape quickly.

It is easy to use. The tape adheres nicely to most materials. It tears off easily. I like that this product is made with natural products making it better for the earth.

Environmentally Friendly Scotch Tape? Yes Please!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always have a roll of Scotch tape on my desk, usually within reach of my chair. I'm clumsy, so I'm constantly ripping planner pages and things I need to repair. Since this tape is environmentally friendly, I feel much better about using it. It holds the same as the standard kind, but with that added benefit.
