This can hold pendaflex folders and is decent for filing paperwork, but the plastic is easily cracked and not very durable. If you were using this to store soft clothing items it may work, but if you plan on storing anything heavy this would not be a good option.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Box is a great size for files and has a nice ridge for hanging folders. The lid does not seal very tightly there is a little lip that catches but it easily comes off when not intending it to come off.
