I have files on specific subjects that I need to keep separate but do not need to access often. The plastic file boxes which allow for hanging files provide the storage I need.

I have used this particular file box for storage for tax files for several years. Always go back and buy more for the next year.

Positives: the lid overlaps the rest of the box so very resistant to water from overhead if this is a consideration for you. The dark color is very attractive. Negatives: the type of plastic used in fabrication is prone to cracking/fracture. I dropped a full one of these from a height of less than two feet onto a concrete floor and the entire corner shattered. It is more rigid plastic than it appears.

The containers are worth the price. They do secure tightly. That was my biggest concern as some will be used for long time storage. Interlocking when stacked is also useful. I will buy more of these in the future.
