The file box works well for letter size hanging folders however the lid does not lock well to the body of the box. The lid will pop off with the slightest pressure along the edge of the lid.

Bought this file container as it was the last one on the shelf...got ti home took of the top and found out why it was the last one...the top rt.corner was broken and not noticeable with the top on. I didn't return it as it was the last one in stock and I had to have one right then as I drove 20 miles round trip to get one. The store was OK but I learned a good lesson about picking the last item on the shelf......it's thee for a reason.
