I brought this for my son for school. So far it seems to be holding up very well. No rips or tears. He is known to be rough on his things. So far so good.

I buy these every school year

These are good notebooks. I have found that my son does not destroy them during the school year. The spirals do not come undone and the front covers stay on even after a years worth of use and abuse. The only reason that I am not giving them 5 stars is because there are not enough solid color choices that a teenage boy would be willing to be seen with. We have only found red blue black & gray. My son has found that by having a different color for his notebook binder & folder for each class he is much more organized but he is taking 8 different classes this semester and we are having a hard time doing this. Even if I add in the other colors (teal & purple) there still aren't enough. What is wrong with adding green orange yellow white & (my son would cringe for me saying this) pink to the solid color choices? The cheaper don't last as long notebooks come in these colors.

Great notebooks for school

These notebooks hold up to heavy use by my 3 highschoolers. Many teachers recommend these specific notebooks because they tend to last longer than some of the less expensive ones.

I've compared these to Mead and these Staples binders are just as sturdy and reliable.
