[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These labels look really professional with a metallic look. They look like the thing you put them on actually has a metal plate. I love using these for my desk in the office, it looks really professional.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recieved this as a sample to try out. I am a contractor and have a few ladders I tried them on. You need to clean the surface quite well, make sure you get it on straight because, once on it's not coming off in one piece. Since you can customize them we've put them on a few wood products "Woodwork by...."

THESE LABELS ARE A GAME CHANGER

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I need asset tags on all of my photography equipment and tools. I have always used Brother P-Touch labels but am limited by their printers and the labels don't last very long.
I got these asset labels and was surprised by how easy they were to use and the templates on Avery's website. These labels appear metallic but are actually similar to other Avery labels in that they are flexible, heavy duty, tear resistant, and weatherproof. This is an excellent product. The adhesive is very strong (I tried to test the label after placement on a product and struggled.)
These are durable labels. After leaving the labels sit for a couple of days, I tried to see if I could rub or scratch the label or the print toner on the label. The label stayed whole when using my fingernail. I could scratch the toner with a piece of metal on edge but the label resisted damage. It took a lot to mar the label at all. I have very positive experience with large chemical resistant labels from Avery (label yard waste cans with the labels) and trust Avery when they say this label is chemical resistant, waterproof and abrasion resistant.
Notes about printing with these labels: (1) Make sure to select “labels” on the printer paper type options. (2) I used the online Avery template site to design my labels (the web address is printed on each of the sheets of labels). The site was easy enough to use and the labels printed out as PDFs that I could save or simply print to my HP laser right away. Worked very well. (3) The labels are on a gray sheet, so printing white is not possible. However, the labels showed color very well (see attached picture for range of colors on a printed label).
Overall, these labels are highly durable, easy to use and work very well as asset tags.

Smears

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Avery is usually a common name in our household, so Avery Industrial was well worth the try. I tried the PermaTrack Metallic Asset Tag Labels to tag my sons medical devices in case they get lost. I was so excited to give it a try since these are waterproof - so we thought. The pack comes with 112 labels. The template was very easy to download and use. I followed the directions and was a little disappointed in the smear of the print on the tag when applied. I had a little too much hope that these would be perfect for what we needed. I will still seek Avery for other items, but will stay away from this one.

We are very sorry that you had trouble printing on these. We do recommend these for laser printers. Inkjet printers will cause the label to smear. If you are using a laser printer, we recommend selecting a Label or Heavyweight setting when printing. You can reach out to our Care Team at avery.com/contact or call us at 800-462-8379 and we would be happy to assist you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these labels to use for my Christmas cards. They worked great for printing my address on. No smearing or smudging ink. Looked pretty. Easy to peel off and stick on the envelope. No issues with them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so in love with this type of label, I had never used metallic labels and decided thos would be something to help with my business and showing off my logo and they didn't disappoint. They shine nicely and are a great size to place on my bags with my products that are provided to my customers. I love them and will definitely continue to use them in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Avery labels are always easy to use. They feed into my laser printer with no issues and always line up with the information I'm printing on them. They stay attached to all the computers I've used them on, and the info stays legible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These were an okay item. The metallic can be scratched off, printing on them was a little difficult. I have two printers, and my Cannon was was better than my HP. So it does depend on the type of printer to get the best result. A laser printer for sure is required, or the quality will be substandard, and the ink will be easily smudged or removed/missing.
