Works as intended

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are your regular run-of-the-mill highlighters. Nothing exciting nothing sad works just as intended. I use them to review technical requirements and my wife uses them for just about everything (she's a teacher). Will I get more? Most likely we always use them. Will I go out of my way to get them? Probably not. Overall great highlighters.

Great vibrancy and does not bleed through

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to read and review a lot of manuscripts for work and I’ve gone through my fair share of highlights (brands/colors/styles). My biggest gripe with most that I’ve used is that they bleed through the paper to whatever is one the other side BUT NOT THESE! I’m currently reviewing a 200 page document printed double sided and I’ve been able to accurately highlight with the chiseled tip underline and circle without any peeking through on the reverse side. I don’t know that I could go back to what I was using before and am so glad I now have 13 of them.

Worth the Hype Highlighter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Where highlighters are concerned this one easily takes the cake. I found the consistency of the ink and the brightness of the color deeply satisfying to my type A brain. The highlighter provided vivid yellow in a single swipe. Unlike others the tip wasn't too wide or sharp edged it easily fit in my narrowly ruled notebook and didn't bleed through the page. I'm still a write it down to-do list type girlie and used this to highlight my absolutely MUST DOs for the day. I also appreciated that it didn't make the ink under it bleed or smear. No one has time to rewrite a to-do list but you know we will find time if our items start to look like it was attacked my rain. I wish I had other colors as yellow isn't my favorite but for now -- it works! Overall I was satisfied with the product and will continue to use it daily.

Smooth and easy to use

The vibrant color and chisel tip design enabled effortless application and clear visibility while preventing ink smudging. Moreover I appreciated the highlighter's ergonomic profile and comfortable grip allowing for easy handling while using it.

Hype Highlighter lives up to the hype

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Staples Hype yellow highlighter lives up to the name! This highlighter doesn't smear the ink or leave yellow stains all over your hands. The chiseled tip allows for bright eye catching use even on smaller fonts. Cap stays on highlighter doesn't dry out. Everyone in my office has switched to this highlighter.

Bright and Juicy Highlighter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Staples Hype Stick Highlighter lives up to the hype. It's a highlighter that delivers a vibrant bold yellow on every stroke. It is also definitely a highlighter yellow not muted or dull. The ink pops off the page which is what any pen with the word "highlighter" in the name should do. The chisel tip is sharp and stiff so you get a consistent line all the way across your page. The tip also was clean and didn't fray after I used it for a while. I even used the pen for some lettering and it stayed consistent as I looped around the page. Even though the tip is firm the pen is very juicy. It puts down a full layer of ink every time without any odors or toxic smells. It doesn't skip or fade giving you a solid line. I used it to highlight printed documents on printer paper write over ballpoint ink and letter on thicker art paper. It performed great in all situations and didn't smear. The pen itself has a nice smooth and thin barrel making it comfortable to hold. If you're looking for a bright yellow highlighter that delivers every time the Staples Hype Stick Highlighter does exactly that.

Smooth and versatile

The yellow color is very bold and vibrant really highlighting the homework text and key phrases for my students. I love the chisel tip which ensures that I am able to underline text neatly when needed. It does not smudge and is both comfortable and smooth to use. Highly recommend.
