Top blue strip of lock comes off whenever you open it. Every

Every time you open these bag, the top blue strip (that it attached to one side and then zips to the other side) comes off. So your "zip" is now down to 1 tiny blue strip attachment. Best part, is that the bags come in the box in the zipped position, so when you open it for the first time to put something in, it's already broken. I'm 10 for 10 right now in my box. Terrible.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love these!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love that these are thick and sturdy and easy to use. We mostly use them for crafting with our toddler. We put paint in it; they stand up so she can use it as a container to paint out of, or we zip it up and she can squish it around the paint beads in it.

struggle to open without ripping

I use this bag in my classroom. Students have small projects to keep track of and ziploc bags is one product we have come to rely on. The last bag of Grip and Seal bags was so frustrating. When we tried to open a bag, the top ripped. I hope this design has been updated. My box had and id codeL x35302e0707

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. The best brand of plastic and storage bags there is! Durable and strong! I dislike that it is a little difficult getting the bags out of the box (they all seem to "slide out" together instead of one at a time) but other than that I will continue to use these! They seal/zip tightly and are great quality.

What a great product. These bags are very durable and have a strong hold to them. They are easy to open and close well enough that you can put many products in them without them opening and leaking out. They are also big enough to carry sandwiches or basically any snack that you need to bring with. They also stay tight so that your product stays fresh inside.
