I buy these bags for their great size, double zipper, easy to open and close. Problem is, often, they tear opening or closing along one side. Close examination shows weak looking edge or seam? This isn't any good for that reason. I guess I must look for another brand that can handle normal zipper pulls to open. disappointed in what I thought was a top quality bag.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I love the extended tabs which make it easier to pull the bags open with my arthritic hands. The double zipper ensures the bag of shield and the food stays fresh. it even comes with a white triangle where you can use a sharpie to label the bag, they thought of everything.

My favorite storage bag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love these Ziploc storage bags. I really like how thin the bag feels. Bag is thin, but still very nice strong quality. I like how the top of the bag folds down to make filling the bag quick and easy. Also, I like the bag is so easy to zip shut and open.

Bought the "New" grip and seal storage bags to give them a try. Thought I could save a buck or two instead of buying the zipper style. I found the bags took excessive force to open, and when I tried to separate the seam to open the larger portion or tab kept tearing. I asked another member of the house to give it a try and they found the same issue. I figured maybe only one or two bags might be the problem, but it turns out the entire box was made in this way. I have to assume it's just a poor design. Needs to go back to the drawing board. Will not purchase again.

Cant open these bags, the plastic along the top closure rips before you can get them open. This has never happened before, and we have been using this brand for years! What have you done differently in the manufacturing? I'm no longer buying Ziplock.
