I love ziploc brand but this style of bag is awful. The very first bag I used I went to open it and it ripped all the way dowm the sides.

I buy these bags for their great size, double zipper, easy to open and close. Problem is, often, they tear opening or closing along one side. Close examination shows weak looking edge or seam? This isn't any good for that reason. I guess I must look for another brand that can handle normal zipper pulls to open. disappointed in what I thought was a top quality bag.

My mother-in-law had bought several boxes of this bag and every single bags in all those boxes have the same exact problem. The flap tears EVERY time you try to open it even on new bags. So now you are left with only 1 tiny blue strip to close the bag. Then it is a pain trying to open that bag later. She lives in a small town and far away from the store so she couldn't return it or have her refunds. She thought it was probably just a fluke box so she bought another box only to encounter the same problem again. What a waste!

I am a long time Ziploc user because they were easy to open and easy to close. WERE! I can not figure out how to close these bags - what's the trick to making sure they are sealed? It takes multiple attempts to seal the bag and then when I do open them, something rips. The top tab, the zip or the side seal. Until this defective design (and yes, I believe that this is a defect) is corrected, I will be purchasing other brands.

Bought the Ziplock storage bags in the gallon size from our local food store. Never had a problem in the past. Quickly found out that the bags were defective. When pulling the bags open to use, a part of the edge of the zipper would pull apart from the seam. Very frustrating.
