Ziploc quality has changed and not for the better

I have been using Ziploc products for many years. My complaint is with the Ziploc storage , quart size, bags. I never had a problem with these bags that I use to pack my children's' sandwiches in. The quality has changed. The bags when opening them to put the sandwich inside ( normal size bread) split on the seams and make the bag unusable. This has happened many times and with different lot numbers over the past 6 months to a year. I thought it was a one time thing but now realize otherwise. Sometimes finding cheaper production alternatives ultimately causes more money in the end. If it isn't broken don't' try to fix it , especially if it only benefiting you the manufacturer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The seal works, as has been proven over the past several years. However, the new tabs are absolutely useless. They break way too easily, and at times make it even harder to open the bag. This is one "advancement" I hope Ziploc is smart enough to revert.

WE LOVE ZIPLOC BAGS AND USE LOTS OF THEM BUT THIS PACKAGE WASNT SO GREAT. EVERY SINGLE BAG TORE AT THE ZIP. THE SOLID RED STRIP TORE AWAY FROM THE TOP BLUE STRIPE AT THE ZIP. VERY STRANGE AND VERY ANNOYING. WE HAVE NEVER HAD A BAGGIE DO THIS UNTIL THIS BOX.

The new design has flaws. Most of the bags seem to come apart up by the seam. I never had this happen until they redesigned the bags. This is the only storage bag I use and I am not happy with the change in the product. Almost every bag I have tried to use has had this problem.

Constantly rips down the side, even on first use. Cannot be

Ever since Ziploc started implementing the "easy open tabs", the bags are easier to open but the seams on the sides of the bag rip apart, rendering the bags useless either immediately or after the first use. Sadly, can no longer recommend Ziploc.
