The seal is very good. Too good in this case. Trying to open was virtually impossible when trying to separate from opening end. Pulling sides of bags was more effective but still difficult and impossible if liquids are stored. Pulling hard enough to open bags ended in ripping bag. Whole box was the same.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The last several boxes i have purchased. The top splits off the bag. I have never had problems before. Also the school labels arent on the boxes anymore.
